Arrow Type Back Pressure valve
The arrow-type check valve, also known as the arrow-type backpressure valve, is one of the commonly used internal blowout prevention (IBOP) tools in oil and gas drilling and workover operations. It is run into the well with the drill string and operates downhole. During drilling or workover, if overflow, kick, or positive circulation stops occur, the arrow-type check valve quickly closes under the reverse circulation pressure inside the drill string, blocking the internal passageway to achieve internal blowout prevention.
