Releasing back off spear is used for fishing, back off and releasing the fish. It can catch and transmit left hand torque during back off. It can instead of left hand taper taps and die collars. Thefunction is similar to back off sub.The difference is that it doesn't need to make up thread with fish and catch at any part internally.

Structure & Principle
Releasing spear is made up of mandrel, grapple, releasing ring, nut and so on. Each specification is equipped with various sizes grapples.
When the tool enter into the fish, the slip was compressed, and produces a determinate outside force to make the slip press close to the fishing's wall. With the mandrel going up and the pulling power increasing, the mandrel with serrate connection of the slip are coincide with each other, so the slip engender a radial force to catch the fishing.
